Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Weekend and Holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical/Surgical units, including Vents, Ortho, and General Med/Surg populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:9 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by PCA Techs on the unit
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Float within Med/Surg units as needed based on staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Orthopedic nursing experience
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced Med/Surg environment
