Job Description

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, visitor issues, and/or requests for support from staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site policies, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel, and following post orders and healthcare location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
