Program Manager R&D Projects

DRS RADA is looking for a Program Manager to join our team. The program manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing product development projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. As part of this role, the program manager will be responsible for the following activities: Leading the project multidisciplinary - working closely with System Engineers, Quality, Production, and Delivery teams. Project management including schedule preparation and monitoring, budget management, risk management, and bottleneck monitoring. Coordinating all activities related to: Testing and integration (lab & field tests) Release to production Handshake with the production line managers Requirements A bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; MBA is an advantage. At least 3 years of experience as an R&D engineer. At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management roles, developing complex, multidisciplinary products aimed for mass production. Proven experience in transitioning from development to production. Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and dynamic conditions. Ability to lead in a matrix; comfortable working with multiple interfaces simultaneously. Customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough and methodical approach. In-depth understanding of radars - advantage. Experience with OEM products - advantage.
