Director/Senior Manager - Celebrity Relations

Summary Lead Valentino's celebrity and VIP strategy across the U.S., partnering with the U.S. VP of Marketing & Communications and global communications to increase brand visibility at award shows, premieres, and other high-profile moments. This role secures A-list relationships, manages celebrity contracts and gifting protocols, oversees product placement efforts, and directs a team to drive red carpet dressing and tailored market programs. Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with A-list celebrities, talent agencies, publicists, stylists, and costume designers. Develop and execute seasonal celebrity strategies, including award season and major cultural events such as the Met Gala. Negotiate and manage celebrity contracts, agreements, gifting, pre-orders, product seeding, and VIP store visits. Identify and drive product placement opportunities in television, film, and red carpet events to increase brand exposure. Coordinate with regional marketing teams and global communications to implement tailored programs and measure ROI and impressions. Oversee, mentor, and guide the celebrity relations team and advise global stakeholders on best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree. 10+ years of experience in public relations, bookings, talent agency/representative roles; luxury retail experience highly preferred. Established media, stylist, celebrity, and talent agency contacts. Strong fashion sense, tactical strategic thinking, and solid business acumen. Proven people leader with highly developed communication and relationship-building skills.
