This in-person, contract role serves dynamic educational settings near Bothell and Marysville, WA, throughout the Extended School Year (ESY) session from June 29 to July 30. Work a flexible four-day schedule Monday through Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm perfect for balancing your career and personal time during the summer.

As the school RN, you’ll have an engaging caseload that may span two nearby locations and provide support to several specialized education programs. Your expertise in school nursing will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of students.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington.
• WA SPED RN Certification and active credentials required.
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric health preferred.
• Confident working across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to adapt to evolving needs in a fast-paced school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students during ESY, including those in special education programs.
• Monitor, assess, and administer prescribed treatments or medications, maintaining up-to-date health records.
• Respond to health emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate health needs and relevant information to staff and families when appropriate.
• Serve as a valued resource and advocate for students overall well-being.
