Strategic Affordable Housing Eligibility Analyst

Corporate Office, 912 Capital of Texas Hwy, Ste 220, Austin, TX 78746, USA Eligibility Specialist The Eligibility Specialist will be responsible for reviewing files to determine income eligibility of households desiring to live in an affordable housing unit. Responsibilities Reviewing applicant files to determine if a household is income qualified to live at an affordable community. Work closely with the on-site staff to accomplish each task. Qualifications Minimum of 4-6 years of experience with knowledge of affordable multi-family property management Compliance adherence and the affordable application process. Strong working knowledge of tax credit compliance, including HUD 4350.3. Property Management experience working on a tax credit or Project-based Section 8 Property would be a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Strong communication skills, detail oriented and strong mathematical ability. Criminal History Record If an offer of employment is made and accepted, continued employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory results of a thorough Criminal History Record Check(s).
