Position Summary Responsible for delivering person‑centered care in a 40‑bed skilled nursing facility, preserving residents’ dignity and quality of life. Essential Functions Perform nursing services, including resident assessments, vital sign documentation, medication administration, and treatments. Maintain timely documentation of written and verbal reports. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed. Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility) per the Resident Care Plan. Participate in required in‑service training and education sessions. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours Very active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 lbs. independently. Use proper body mechanics when assisting residents. Regular long hours, frequent night and weekend work. Travel No travel is expected; occasional travel may be required for training, continuing education, emergency situations, or other company functions. Education and Experience Requirements Four‑year college or university degree desired. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid. Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards. Use electronic records and miscellaneous software and office equipment. Understand and follow directions as given.
