DPS is now hiring a  Director of Food and Nutrition Services  for a Facility in Lone Tree, Colorado. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Job Details:

Location: 10101 RidgeGate Pkwy, Lone Tree, CO 80124

Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 - 45 hours per week. Weekends on rotation as manager on call)

Starting Pay Rate: $55.00 Hourly + (Based on experience) 

Temporary to hire

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations for patient and non-patient food services, employee cafeteria, physician dining, catering, and floor stock.
• Oversee food production, standardized recipes, production schedules, meal quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with State, Local, Federal, Joint Commission, OSHA, EEOC, and organizational standards.
• Evaluate processes and implement improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and service.
• Promote a patient-first culture, address concerns, and support strategies to improve patient satisfaction and HCAHPS results.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop staff; oversee training, competency assessments, and performance reviews.
• Manage departmental supplies, food, equipment, vendors, productivity, and operational costs.
• Develop and manage the department budget, including accurate GL coding and vendor compliance.
• Prepare and oversee departmental reports, analyses, menus, food production, labor and food costs, and sanitation records.
• Build effective relationships with patients, physicians, employees, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, improved services, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Managers (CDM, CFPP) and Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) required.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams while driving employee engagement.
• Knowledge of food service operations, sanitation, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, productivity, and departmental resources.
• Ability to implement process improvements and achieve operational and financial goals.
• Commitment to patient service, quality excellence, ethical practices, and organizational values.
