Mechanic Responsibilities General maintenance activities throughout the buildings and grounds, including heating and air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems, mechanical, carpentry, painting, and other duties as assigned. Complete work orders that do not require specialized training. Must follow accepted safety practices. Report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action. Participate in safety instructional programs. Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information concerning personnel, financial, medical, or employment status of patients and their families.
