Class B CDL Delivery Driver

Class B CDL Delivery DriverAmerican Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Harrison, OH. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.Responsibilities include loading, unloading, moving, and storing of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies, making deliveries to customers or other branches, and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.Duties:Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.Pick up returns at customer place of business.Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:High School graduate or equivalent.Class B CDL Required with Hazmat Endorsement.Clean commercial driving record 3+ years.Able to read and write English.Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.Ability to effectively communicate with customers.Drug Free work environment.Incentives include:Competitive pay structure.Excellent benefit package:Medical, Dental, Vision with no waiting period.Company paid Life Insurance.Company paid Short-term & Long-term Disability.401(k) with Company Match.Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off.Company cell phone.Employer paid CDL license renewal fees including endorsements and medical card.American Welding & Gas is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.
