RN - Pediatric ER

Registered Nurse - Children's ER

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Nights

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Children's ER will provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the care episode, offering comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pediatric patients.
• Provide compassionate patient and family support during care episodes.
• Document patient information accurately and effectively.
• Demonstrate comfort with pediatric resuscitation and critically ill children care.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Nevada RN license required prior to start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Pediatric ER.
• Strong documentation skills and quality patient/family interactions are essential.
