Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab RN is responsible for circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedural cases within the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role involves providing peri-procedural patient care, ensuring compliance with certification and licensing requirements, and maintaining clinical excellence during complex cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Scrub and circulate using sterile techniques and specialized equipment during interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, electrophysiological rhythms, and overall condition throughout the procedure.
• Adhere to facility policies and protocol requirements, including certification, licensing, and compliance mandates.
• Participate in ongoing competency assessments and annual training modules to maintain clinical proficiency.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and patients to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months' permanent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Demonstrate active certifications in BLS and ACLS at the time of application.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Be able to provide a reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months in the cardiovascular specialty.
• Must be nicotine-free (except Nurses and CSTs) with recent drug screening as specified.
