Mast Landing School

Mast Landing School, a grade 3-5 elementary school, is seeking an passionate, collaborative, and student-centered School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of our students. The counselor plays a vital role in cultivating a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment where all students can thrive.

This position delivers a comprehensive school counseling program, including weekly universal social-emotional learning (SEL) instruction, targeted small-group interventions, individualized and responsive student support, and collaborative consultation with staff and families. The counselor serves as a key member of the school's support system, helping remove barriers to learning and promoting student well-being.

Interested candidates should demonstrate a deep investment in being an integral part of a collaborative school community that consistently considers the developmental needs of students and share the belief that school should be joyful spaces.

Requirements:

Must hold valid Guidance Counselor Certification from the ME Dept. of Education.
