Competitive, fair, and commensurate with skills, experience, education, or training. Work Schedule: Open availability. Summary The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, and ensuring a safe, prompt experience. Descriptive Statements – % of Time Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor. Uses guest last names during interactions. – 25% Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette; stay in designated areas when not completing tasks. – 10% Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. – 20% Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and attractions; delivers messages, items, or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations. – 10% Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys; consistently completes and maintains all ticket information, including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey, and claim check receipt; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed. – 35% Qualities Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required Licensure, Certification, Etc. Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance Work Experience One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services Skills Ability to read and write standard English Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations Ability to add and subtract three‑digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens and hundreds using American monetary units Understand 24‑hour and military time systems Understand rates applicable to time passed Manual transmission operation highly desirable Perform parallel parking Authority To Act Job is fairly routine; follows established practices and procedures; decisions within operational instructions and guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect efficient operation.
