Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for utilizing a wide array of computers, tools and automated machines to manufacture and qualify microplates used in Echo products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Following established procedures to setup, fill and test various microplates
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and other advanced data analysis software
• Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a technical, manufacturing or laboratory position
• Associates degree in a technical field or comparable work experience
• Proficiency in PC applications skills: MS Word, Excel, VB, MS Access, Windows Explorer

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline
• Prior work experience with automation, centrifuges, plate readers, liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages
