Job Description

Obtain an accurate set of vitals on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients for both sick and wellness visits
Acquire patient histories and chief complaints
Prepare and administer medications, immunizations, and breathing treatments as well as perform suture removals and ear washes
Run several diagnostic tests including urinalysis, fingersticks, viral and bacterial swabs, and hearing/vision screenings
Prepare outside lab tests and call for pickup
Appropriately document administered immunizations/medications, procedures, and diagnostic tests
Stock/clean the lab and examination rooms
Inform parents and providers of diagnostic test results and/or treatment recommendations
Complete a variety of administrative tasks including filling out patient forms, organizing incoming faxes, and obtaining prescription refill messages to forward to the provider
