Job Summary The Project Manager drives successful project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals, fostering a collaborative team environment, championing continuous improvement, and effectively managing vendor relationships. The role emphasizes proactive risk management, meticulous scope and resource control, transparent communication, and a data‑driven approach to measuring benefits realization. Job Specifications and Core Competencies Scope and Change Management Define and document project scope aligned with strategic objectives. Ensure scope control through rigorous change management processes to minimize scope creep. Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to validate and adjust project deliverables. Schedule and Time Management Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and task dependencies. Track and manage project progress, adjusting timelines to mitigate risks and meet objectives. Monitor and report schedule performance using project management tools. Cost and Resource Management Develop comprehensive budgets, track expenditures, and manage variances. Optimize resource allocation and oversee vendor negotiations to maintain fiscal discipline and quality assurance. Risk and Issue Management Identify, assess, and document potential risks and issues. Develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation and contingency plans. Escalate significant risks and issues to senior leadership with actionable recommendations. Quality Management Establish and maintain quality standards for deliverables. Implement and monitor testing plans for hardware, software, and integration components. Conduct quality assurance reviews and facilitate lessons learned sessions post‑project. Strategic Alignment and Benefits Realization Collaborate with stakeholders to define measurable project benefits. Develop metrics to track benefits realization and report on them during evaluation phases. Engage stakeholders across all levels, facilitate steering committee meetings, executive updates, and workshops. Leadership, Communication, and Teamwork Lead cross‑functional project teams, fostering collaboration and shared purpose. Provide timely, constructive feedback and facilitate large meetings with expert preparation, execution, and follow‑through. Communication and Reporting Deliver tailored communication to diverse audiences, including executive sponsors, project teams, and external partners. Prepare and present comprehensive status reports highlighting key metrics, risks, and achievements. Lead communications in politically charged or high‑stakes environments with clarity and professionalism. Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration Promote knowledge sharing and best practices among teams. Maintain comprehensive project documentation that ensures accessibility and compliance with governance standards. Organizational Governance and Process Improvement Implement CHC’s project governance structure and adhere to organizational policies. Support adoption of governance standards by non‑centralized project teams. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Work Experience: 5 years of project management experience, including at least 1 year in IT and/or healthcare or health insurance. Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
