School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Moreno Valley, California

A full-time bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought for a position working with elementary and middle school students in a supportive educational environment. From August 2026 to June 2027, you'll contribute to students' communication growth while collaborating with passionate professionals.


This role involves working with a manageable caseload of 55 students across elementary and middle school levels, offering variety in your day-to-day practice. You'll have the chance to use your bilingual skills, empower diverse learners, and grow your expertise within a dynamic school setting.


What we're looking for:

• Active SLPA credential (California)
• Experience supporting Speech-Language Pathology services in schools or healthcare
• Bilingual proficiency required
• Previous work with pediatric or adolescent populations (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Must be available for a full-time contract (37.5 hours per week)
• Immediate availability for interviews
• Recent SLP graduates not eligible for this position

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect support to students under licensed SLP supervision
• Support implementation of IEP goals focused on communication and language
• Assist with screenings, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster positive student engagement in individual and group settings
