Registered Nurse In Emergency DepartmentThis position involves working in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The unit has a total of 19 beds, including additional spaces for patient care. The staff-to-patient ratio is 1:5. You will work alongside an ED tech and other specialized medical personnel. The department is equipped with advanced technology including GE monitors, Lucas 3 devices, Glidescope, and Level 1 infusers. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation in the Meditech system. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required as part of the schedule. Floating to other areas is not a common practice for this unit. Patient experience is a key priority, which includes the use of whiteboards, keeping patients informed, and ensuring that patients and their families feel cared for. Dress code requires dark blue scrubs.
