Hygiene Assistant
Wave Dental Specialists – Atlanta Buckhead, Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in the heart of Buckhead. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and want to be part of an experienced, collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you!
As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our hygienists and doctors while helping provide an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist hygienists with patient care and clinical procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms between patients
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs
- Update patient records and chart information accurately
- Assist with iTero scans and digital imaging as needed
- Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized
- Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Dental Assistant certification/license required
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred
- Experience with iTero digital scanners preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and patient care
