Now Hiring: Industrial Electrician (2nd Shift – 4-Day Work Week) Location: South Nashville Area, TN  Compensation: Up to $36/hour (based on experience) + Quarterly Bonus Plan Schedule: 2nd Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | 4 Days a Week (Plus scheduled overtime/weekends as needed)

What You’ll Do

• Install & Maintain: Run 120–460V electrical installations, troubleshoot circuits, and maintain plant equipment (circuit breaker panels, Buss rail feeds, disconnect panels, conduit sizing).

• Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot production equipment issues involving fuses, feed sources, control wiring, and control panels.

• Collaborate: Coordinate with OEM tech support for advanced troubleshooting and work seamlessly with our maintenance team.

• Read Technical Specs: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer instructions to make critical repair decisions.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of industrial electrical/controls experience. PLC programming/troubleshooting knowledge is highly preferred.

• Credentials: Journeyman’s or Master Electrician’s license, OR an Associate degree/equivalent technical trade experience.

• Skills: Proficient with electrical systems, hand tools, and basic PC programs (Word, Excel). Must be able to pass an in-house forklift certification.

• Safety & Codes: Deep knowledge of Arc Flash safety, electrical safe practices, and National/State electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels. Complete electrical installations from 120–460 volts and troubleshoot electrical circuits.

• Infrastructure Work: Work with circuit breaker panels, Buss rail feed systems, Buss plugs, disconnect panels, running conduit, and sizing conductors/fuses necessary to power plant equipment.

• Diagnostics: Diagnose electrical problems with production equipment, working closely with fuses, electrical feed sources, and control wiring.

• Technical Support: Communicate with OEM equipment tech support regarding equipment problems to request technical assistance.

• Documentation: Understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.

• Teamwork & Motivation: Must be motivated to work on your own and as part of a team. strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position.

• Physical Demands: Work can be physically demanding. In order to install and repair equipment, the electrician may need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time. Must also be able to operate tools in close proximity to electrical components.
