What our veterinary technicians do includes partnering with veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and patient care, collecting laboratory samples and performing accurate in-house diagnostic testing, administering medications and monitoring hospitalized patients, preparing patients for surgery and monitoring anesthesia within the RVT scope of practice, educating clients about preventative care, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care, maintaining accurate medical records that support excellent continuity of care, creating calm, compassionate, low-stress experiences for patients and clients, and collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional medical care every day.

What our veterinary technicians bring includes a current Maryland Registered Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure, strong communication and teamwork skills, a compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude, a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, experience in a fast-paced small animal practice preferred, commitment to Fear Free® and low-stress patient handling, and a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
