POSITION SUMMARY:

Employing the nursing process, this role involves delivering high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient's clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in condition or treatment response. A solid understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan is necessary, along with the skills to provide age-appropriate care for the patient demographic served. This position also promotes the nursing profession and professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. You will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school is required, along with current licensure in the State of Connecticut.

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is mandatory upon hire, or you must obtain certification during the introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency throughout your employment in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

• Basic computer proficiency is required.
