Transportation Project Manager / Senior Project ManagerA growing Chicago-area engineering and construction management firm is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead roadway and transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Chicagoland area.This is an opportunity for an experienced transportation engineer to take ownership of significant projects, lead engineering teams, work directly with public-sector clients, and continue growing into a senior leadership role within the organization.Responsibilities:Lead roadway and transportation design projects from planning through final designManage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverablesLead and mentor engineering staffCoordinate with clients, agencies, subconsultants, and project stakeholdersOversee preparation of roadway plans, specifications, estimates, and technical documentationSupport projects for IDOT, Illinois Tollway, CDOT, counties, municipalities, and other transportation agenciesParticipate in client development and pursuit of future transportation workQualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredApproximately 10+ years of transportation engineering experienceStrong roadway/highway design backgroundExperience managing transportation projects and engineering teamsExperience with IDOT and/or Illinois Tollway projects strongly preferredExperience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or Bentley transportation design softwareStrong communication, client-facing, and project leadership skillsCompensation & Benefits:Base salary of approximately $125,000–$175,000, depending on experienceCompetitive benefits packageProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesOpportunity to take on significant project and leadership responsibilityApply confidentially.
