Position Highlights Full-time vascular surgery position within a regional referral center Established surgical and cardiovascular programs Dedicated operating room access and endovascular capabilities Opportunity to develop and expand vascular services across the health system Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice Procedures May Include Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR / TEVAR) Peripheral vascular interventions Carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting Lower extremity bypass surgery Dialysis access creation and maintenance Management of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia Venous disease management and thrombectomy procedures Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Malpractice coverage with tail Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and CME allowance Relocation assistance may be available Responsibilities Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of vascular disease Perform open and endovascular procedures in a hospital-based surgical setting Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular consultations Participate in call coverage and vascular service line development Collaborate with cardiology, nephrology, wound care, and critical care services Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of accredited Vascular Surgery residency or fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery Eligible for medical licensure in Maine DEA certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr
