Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With approximately 500 students receiving special education services across three sites—two elementary schools and one middle school—you’ll be part of a group that’s known for its collaboration, support, and commitment to student success. This is a contract opportunity where your expertise will be valued and your contributions supported by a kind, responsive director and a knowledgeable team, including per diem diagnosticians and interns who provide additional assistance.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Experience as an Educational Diagnostician, preferably in a school setting
  • Current PED documentation required (please include a copy with your application)
  • Strong collaborative mindset; comfortable working as part of an interactive team
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete thorough educational evaluations and assessments for students as assigned
  • Partner closely with SPED staff and other diagnosticians to ensure seamless student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation consistent with district and PED guidelines
  • Serve 2 elementary and 1 middle school site (no PreK students included in the caseload)
  • Participate in regular team meetings, sharing insights and strategies
