Project and Program Management Specialist

Project & Program Management Specialist Location: Onsite for initial training, then fully remote. Candidates must be local to the Southern California area. Duration: 2-year contract (no conversion) Pay Range: $25–$30/hr Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Project & Program Management Specialist to provide administrative and project support to Project Managers and project teams. This role combines project coordination — scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication — with vendor invoice review, ensuring contractual compliance, proper documentation, and accurate processing through SAP. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the Project Management department. Key responsibilities include: Support Project Managers with scheduling, documentation, project plan updates, reporting, and presentations Review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms Verify that all required documentation and approvals are included and properly signed Enter accurate accounting information into SAP and route invoices to the correct approver Communicate with both vendors and internal project teams regarding invoices and project needs Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Essential Job Duties and Job Functions: Validate completeness and agreement between invoices and contracts Maintain clear, professional verbal and written communication with vendors and project teams Stay focused and accurate while processing high volumes of documentation Balance competing priorities and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy Knowledge and Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, and Visio Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience: High school diploma required; college degree preferred 0–2 years of relevant experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Hydrogen Group
