LCMS Scientist

Eurofins Discovery seeks an analytical chemist to support contract research services in Saint Charles, MO. The role involves developing and executing LC-MS methods for ADME/toxicology applications, troubleshooting instrumentation, and managing analytical projects with minimal supervision in a GxP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK and related service lines
• Conduct production assays and support analytical method development for internal and external teams
• Troubleshoot and maintain mass spectrometers and HPLC instrumentation
• Perform data quality review and QC release of reports; train colleagues and external users
• Own client projects with minimal oversight and contribute to process improvements and service expansion

Requirements

• B.S. with 5+ years relevant lab experience, or M.S. with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with 1+ year
• Direct LC-MS or LC-UV experience in CRO or industry for ADME/DMPK applications
• Expertise in mass spectrometry-based quantification and analytical method development
• Familiarity with bioanalytical method validation per FDA and ICH regulatory guidelines
• Experience with liquid handling automation, solid-phase extraction, and high-throughput screening
• Small team leadership and project management experience
