Location: Fryeburg School District, Fryeburg, ME 04037
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 33.75 hours per week
School Year: 2026–2027
Pay: $40–$55/hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Fryeburg, Maine for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity focuses primarily on conducting evaluations, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with school teams to support student success. Candidates who are also able to provide counseling services are encouraged to apply, though counseling is not required.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports.
Attend and actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Coordinate intervention plans with educators, families, and related service providers.
Collaborate with school personnel to develop effective supports and recommendations.
Provide counseling services if qualified and interested.
Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications
Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active Maine School Psychologist certification/licensure (or ability to obtain prior to the start date).
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Previous school-based experience preferred.

Position Details
Full-time schedule (33.75 hours per week)
Pre-K–12th grade student population (Pre-K experience preferred but not required)
Primary responsibilities include evaluations, IEP meetings, and intervention planning
Opportunity to provide counseling services if qualified
May provide services across up to four school buildings
Official start date: August 31, 2026
Candidates available for orientation and safety trainings August 24–28, 2026 are preferred, but this is not required
