Director of Business Tax Division

Employment Type : Full-time, On-site

An established accounting practice is seeking a seasoned CPA to lead its Business Tax Division. This role involves preparing complex business tax returns, supervising bookkeeping operations, and advising clients on tax strategies. The position offers long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to eventually assume ownership of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1041.

• Supervise monthly and annual bookkeeping for business clients.

• Provide advisory support on tax-related concerns and strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting (Bachelor's degree required).

• CPA designation preferred.

• Proven experience in business bookkeeping, accounting, and taxation.

• Familiarity with trusts and estates is a plus but not required.
