Electrical Battery Engineer (Material Handling)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of industrial batteries and related products. Focusing predominantly on the material handling sector, they are looking to bring on a new Field Service Engineer to cover Scotland. With a competitive salary, company van and bonus on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer, with an electrical background, looking for a new role.
Responsibilities
- Servicing the company’s client base across Scotland
- Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
- Working alongside the other field based engineers across the Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
- Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
- Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer service
Requirements
This role would suit an experienced battery engineer that has previously spent time working in the field, but this is not essential. The company would also be interested in speaking with candidates who have an electrical SVQ Level 3 or equivalent whilst having strong interpersonal skills. In terms of location, you will ideally be based across the central belt of Scotland but candidates further afield will be considered.
