Fabrication Technician

Hiring Fabrication Technician in Everett, WA

Pay: $22-24/hour

Schedule: 6am-3:30pm M-Th and 6am-2:30pm every other Friday

Job Summary

We're looking for a hands-on technician with experience in metal fabrication to set up and operate manual machines in a production environment. You'll work with metals using lathes, mills, grinders, and honing equipment to produce high-quality parts to print, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and run manual fabrication equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, honing machines)
• Read blueprints and fabricate parts to spec
• Select tools, set speeds/feeds, and adjust machine settings
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Deburr, polish, and finish metal parts
• Follow job schedules and maintain production flow
• Track work orders and complete basic production documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or a similar shop environment
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Comfortable operating manual machines and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable team player with a solid work ethic

Work Environment

Shop setting with standard fabrication equipment, noise, and moving machinery. Requires standing, handling metal parts, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

This is a contract position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
