Lead Line Cook

Kasai Records is looking for an energetic and ambitious lead line cook!

Line Supervision: Directs the kitchen team and coordinates food preparation during busy service hours.

Food Production: Cooks and plates menu items following exact recipes, portion standards, and presentation rules.

Staff Training: Trains, mentors, and delegates daily tasks to junior cooks and station workers.

Quality & Safety Control: Monitors food quality, checks storage temperatures, and enforces cleanliness and hygiene rules.

Inventory & Stocking: Tracks stock levels, rotates products to ensure freshness, and reports shortages or waste.

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working as a line cook w/ supervisory experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; a culinary arts degree or certificate is a plus.
- Certifications: Valid local food handler's license or ServSafe certification.
- Skills: Strong leadership, fast multitasking, clear communication, and deep knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for long hours and lift heavy kitchen supplies (up to 50 pounds)
