Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and develop tailored therapy plans aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with skilled OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide all-encompassing, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans to ensure every patient remains on the path to success

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification mandatory
