Senior Power Systems Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 + Equity Hours: Monday to Friday onsite About the Job: Lumicity has partnered with a growing clean energy startup based in Los Angeles, California on their search for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join their team. This client is in the early stages of their development and is seeking a hands‑on engineer who can take ownership of the full lifecycle of low and medium‑voltage power systems. The Responsibilities: Take ownership and lead full lifecycle of power systems, from conception through to validation and commissioning Design, develop, test, analyze and commission low and medium-voltage switchgears, transformers, generator, protection relays etc Review, support and make amendments to electrical system designs where required Carry out power system studies using ETAP, including arc flash, load flow, short circuit etc Ensure that all regulatory compliance and standards are adhered to The Requirements: 3+ years' experience within power systems engineering Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar Strong knowledge and experience using ETAP to carry out power systems studies like arc flash, load flow, short circuit analysis etc Strong understanding of electrical certifications and compliance standards (IEC, NFPA, NEC etc) Proven experience taking ownership and leading full lifecycle of medium and low voltage systems Strong skillset and experience within electrical design with the ability to review and assess designs for compliance and safety #J-18808-Ljbffr Lumicity
