Responsibilities

The Anesthesia Tech is directly responsible to the Circulating RN, OR Charge Nurse, and the Director of Peri-Operative Services, and indirectly to the shift Nursing Supervisor. Assists the Anesthesiologists and co- workers in the provision of continuous, quality patient care for, pediatrics , adolescents, adults and older adults. Responsible for adhering to regulations, standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Graduate of an Anesthesia Tech training program or on the job training with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting preferred.

• BCLS upon hire and maintain current.

• Certification preferred.
