We are seeking an experienced and reliable Local LTL Driver to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. As a Local LTL Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering freight to our customers within the local area. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!

*Responsibilities:*

- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to deliver freight to customers within the local area

- Load and unload freight

- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the CMV to ensure it is in good working condition

- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers

- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

- Maintain a clean and organized CMV and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed

*Requirements:*

- Valid CDL license with a good driving record

- Current DOT physical card

- At least 2 years of experience driving an LTL truck for an Asset-Based Carrier

- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns

- Ability to lift, push, and pull freight weighing up to 100 pounds

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deliveries per day

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic logging devices

*Preferred Qualifications:*

- Experience with LTL freight

- Knowledge of cargo securement and handling procedures

- Experience with electronic logging devices and other transportation software
