Join a dedicated CDL-A fleet that offers consistent freight, dependable routes, and year-round stability. This semi-local position is ideal for drivers looking for no-touch freight, assigned equipment, and predictable deliveries between distribution centers throughout the Northeast.

Drivers on this account haul furniture freight between distribution centers in Connecticut and New York, including Long Island. With an average of 8 loads and 9 to 12 stops per week, this account provides consistent work, modern equipment, and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated operation supporting a leading furniture retailer.

Job Details

Semi-local dedicated account
Deliver furniture freight between distribution centers
Operate throughout Connecticut and New York, including Long Island
No-touch freight
100% drop-and-hook operation
Average 8 loads per week
Average 9 to 12 stops per week
Consistent freight volume and dedicated routes

Equipment

Assigned automatic sleeper tractors
Modern, well-maintained equipment
No slip seating
Trucks must remain at the account during time off
Reliable personal transportation required for commuting

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Reliable transportation to and from work
Strong safety record
Professional and dependable work ethic

Special Requirements

Drivers must be willing to assist other dedicated accounts when needed
Support freight may include no-touch deliveries throughout New England and into New York City boroughs
Flexibility to support regional operations during business needs

Holiday Schedule

Thanksgiving: Off
Christmas: Off
New Year's Day: Not Guaranteed Off
