Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions, and implement appropriate solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent breakdowns. Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adequate stock levels. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance tasks, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe work practices. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours worked. Assist with general yard maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing work areas, moving materials, and other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience in performing maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, machinery, or equipment, including skid loaders, backhoes, mini‑excavators, booms, and cranes. Previous experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment. Opportunity to cross‑train on trailer and boom pumps. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with coworkers to achieve common goals. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor. Relevant certifications or licenses in automotive or equipment maintenance are a plus.
