Job Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyzing samples to support diagnostic procedures. This role ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory results in accordance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing in compliance with CLIA regulations and institutional protocols.
• Prepare and process specimens accurately, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
• Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and quality control measures.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve laboratory workflows and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Possess certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a recognized certifying agency or eligibility for registry.
• Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment operation.
• Hold a valid license or meet personnel requirements under CLIA 88.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Adapt to shift schedules and staffing fluctuations as required.
