Obstetric Registered Nurse (OB RN)An opportunity is available for a dedicated Obstetric Registered Nurse (OB RN) to provide quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work in the labor and delivery unit, focusing on the care of mothers and newborns.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery unit.Assist in the delivery process, including monitoring and supporting fetal and maternal health.Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, specifically Cerner.Float to MedSurg as necessary when the census is low, providing care to patients as needed.Participate in routine scheduled shifts without on-call responsibilities.Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.QualificationsCurrent AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.Experience in Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) is a must.Previous experience in a delivery room setting, including receiving newborns.Must have prior MedSurg experience to ensure capability of providing care when necessary.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 36 hours per week for a duration of 8 weeks. Flexibility to cover the holiday schedule is essential.Scrubs: Any color.Client Details State KS
