What you'll be doing day to day Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process. Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving. Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas). Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance. Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience. Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading). Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks Together as a Team We’re the team behind the scenes that make the IKEA products available to the many people. As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs. RequirementsPhysical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs)Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred JOB TYPE: Permanent – Full-Time (benefits eligible) HOURS: 34–40 hrs/week (FT) — limited openings for eachSHIFT: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights & weekends.
