Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients in the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Current and valid nursing license in the state of practice.
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Previous nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting is advantageous.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required for specific units.
