Gas Station Cashier / Store Clerk / Sales Associate
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Available
Pay: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking team members to join our gas station convenience store. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, maintain a clean and organized store, stock merchandise, and assist customers with their needs. Previous retail or cashier experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash register and process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
- Monitor inventory and notify management of low-stock items.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Prepare coffee and other food service items, if applicable.
- Assist customers with questions and purchases.
- Follow all safety, security, and company policies.
- Perform opening, closing, and shift duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Honest, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
