Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, TN is looking to add Licensed Veterinary Technicians to our Emergency Team ! Compensation: $20 - $33/hr, based on experience. Additional shift and weekend differentials offered. Schedule: Consistent three, 12-hour shifts per week. About you You are an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care . You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. Requirements for the Role Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency medicine. LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required. Have an understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc. Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus At NVS, we're not just colleagues; we're a supportive community that celebrates victories together, both big and small.
