About the Position

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ACLS, BLS Description: CONTRACT RN CATH LAB POSITION - 13 WEEKS Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. On-call requirement is 10 to 12 days per month. The unit consists of 8 beds and has a staff of 10 members. The team includes 4 RNs and 3 cardiovascular technologists. Patient ratios on day shifts may vary. The type of equipment used are cardiovascular invasive instruments. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Permanent positions are not available on the unit. Typical procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker and defibrillator implants. Ideal candidates should be team players. Scrub color is ceil blue. This unit offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology. Tenure and experience of staff members are notable. Various schedule options may be available.
