Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedic

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Unit Name: Orthopedic and Medical Surgical

Number of Beds: Orthopedic - 30 beds, Medical Surgical - 37 beds

Patient Ratios: Typically 6:1

Unit Staffing Description: Includes Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and SNEs, with an Unit Secretary available during day shifts.

Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: Schedules are set on a monthly basis (4 weeks), with full-time staff required to work 4 weekend shifts per month.

Floating Policy: Staff may float to different inpatient units as needed, including tasks in Critical Care Unit (CCU) and Emergency Department (ED).

Patient Experience Requirements: All experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Required uniform includes scrub tops and bottoms without fleece, hoodies, or sweatshirts. Long sleeve shirts may be worn under scrub tops or with scrub jackets. Footwear should not have holes, and denim or camouflaged clothing is not permitted.
