Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist to join our team in our location in New Haven County. Candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.

The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient. They assist in the gathering of information in the new patient experience as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to patients. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, the doctor's schedule, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with the clients. The Treatment Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry. They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices who share in the care of patients, making sure referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.

Specific job responsibilities of the Treatment Coordinator include but are not limited to:

• Greet & check in patients
• Handle heavy phone volume
• Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
• Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
• Enter patient treatment plans
• Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
• Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
• Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
• General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Dental reception experience
• Excellent computer skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Willingness to learn & grow
• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in New Haven County, CT
• A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
• Ability to work within current office hours, shifts to be determined. Includes up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month.

Location Hours:

• Monday - 7:30am - 6:30pm
• Tuesday - 7:30am - 6:30pm
• Thursday - 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday - 7:30am - 12:30pm

• Dentrix Ascend Software Experience

Salary Description $22-$26/ hour
