FreeCast is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to take ownership of our corporate IT environment and help build the infrastructure, processes, and standards that support our growing organization.

This is a hands-on role with broad visibility across the company. You’ll own key areas including identity and access management, SaaS administration, endpoint management, office networking, on-premises systems, and IT support, while also partnering with our Engineering and DevOps teams on technical escalations, GitHub access, CI troubleshooting, and cloud access.

A major part of the opportunity is helping us mature and consolidate our IT environment—bringing greater structure, automation, security, and accountability to an ecosystem of more than 200 SaaS services.

What You Need to Succeed

• 3+ years of hands-on IT systems administration or support experience
• Experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 at the admin-console level
• Hands-on experience with SSO, SaaS administration, and identity/access management
• Experience with identity lifecycle automation, including SCIM, directory tooling, or scripting
• Experience managing both macOS and Windows endpoints
• MDM/RMM experience with tools such as Apple Business Manager, NinjaOne, Kaseya, or similar
• Strong understanding of office networking, including switching, Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewall rules, and VPNs
• Experience administering Windows domains / Active Directory
• Experience with NAS or file-server administration, backups, and restoration
• Experience working within a structured, ticket-based IT support environment with SLAs
• Basic scripting capabilities using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering Keycloak or another OIDC/SAML-based SSO platform
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing IT services or platforms
• Experience with password-management platforms such as NordPass, Bitwarden, 1Password, or similar
• GitHub and CI administration exposure
• Experience supporting SOX IT general controls, SOC 2, or other compliance/audit requirements
• Experience with endpoint detection and email security platforms
• Experience supporting physical security systems, including badge access and security cameras
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, CI/CD, or DevOps environments

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Own employee account lifecycle management, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, GitHub, SSO, and other SaaS platforms
• Manage company password and credential-management systems and support the transition of shared/service credentials into secure, auditable environments
• Help rationalize and organize FreeCast’s SaaS environment, including identifying ownership, eliminating unnecessary duplication, and expanding SSO
• Provision and manage laptops and endpoints across macOS and Windows
• Manage MDM/RMM policies, patching, hardware lifecycle, and endpoint standards
• Maintain office networking, Wi-Fi, VPNs, Windows domain services, servers, NAS storage, backups, phones, conference-room technology, badge access, and security cameras
• Support Engineering with GitHub access, CI troubleshooting, development-environment issues, and cloud-access escalations in partnership with DevOps
• Manage the IT service desk through Jira, established SLAs, documentation, and repeatable runbooks
• Support security, least-privilege access reviews, endpoint protection, and compliance requirements
• Respond to IT and security incidents, including account lockouts, device isolation, and evidence preservation
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive IT processes and improve the overall employee technology experience
