Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 30

· Patient Ratios : 1:6

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management

· Type of equipment : walkers, iv pumps, scd’s, etc

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 28 day schedule, fall into holiday rotation.

· Floating policy: Fall into rotation with other staff

· Patient Experience requirements: 72% - utilizing communication boards

Must have : teamwork, compassion, collaboration and communication skills

Advanced skills needed: Medical- Surgical experience (i.e. including- experience with various respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, gi illnesses/diseases, tele, CVC’s, indwelling catheters, heparin gtts, etc)
